Gyaan Setu

Welfare Kalka Foundation launched the Gyaan Setu Project with the vision that education is the strongest foundation for a better future. Started on 5th February, the initiative currently supports 8–10 children by providing basic education, values, and learning support. Under the guidance of teacher Pinky Singh, students are building strong academic foundations while also learning discipline, manners, and essential life skills.

The project maintains daily attendance and conducts weekly tests to monitor progress. Learning materials such as alphabet charts, animal name charts, books, and pencils have been provided. The concept was developed by Preeti Verma, while stationery was sponsored by Poonam Bharti and arranged with support from Sakshi Rathi. Volunteers Vanshika and Disha are also actively contributing.

Though a small step, the project is already making a meaningful impact, helping children gain knowledge, confidence, and a brighter path for the future.

Background

In many regions, access to quality educational resources remains limited or fragmented. Gyaan Setu was conceptualized to bridge this gap by providing a streamlined platform that connects learners with the knowledge they need. The idea is rooted in the belief that education should be accessible to all, regardless of location or background.
